Yes! There are Democrats in Baldwin County!

Baldwin County is Alabama’s largest geographical county and we also have the fastest-growing population in our state. So there’s a steady stream of left-leaners moving into our neighborhoods. Because we’re so big, Baldwin Democrats have three district clubs that can build local community in each area - South Baldwin, North Baldwin and Eastern Shore Democrats. Our Baldwin County Democrats Executive Committee, made up of district club representatives, pulls us all together.

You’ve found us at a phenomenal time when there are so many impactful ways you can join the Baldwin County Blue Team to make a difference.

So there are lots of doors to knock, phones to ring, texts to write. There are flyers to hand out, event tables to set up and take down. There are meetings where we can connect, strategize and simply enjoy the company of like-minded folks.

Of course, political campaigns cost money, so there are cash contributions to be made. Baldwin County Democrats just gave our Website a facelift to portray a more dynamic public presence. We’re investing in campaign software that allows us to target just the right voters and bring them to the polls. We’re organizing voter registration booths at local events and planning public rallies. We’re buying banners and buttons and promotional items and flyers.

At the same time, we’re looking at the long game. We see beyond November 2024 to state and local elections in 2025 and ‘26. Right now, we are recruiting candidates for municipal and state house races over the next two years. When those races roll around next year, we’ll need cash to fuel their campaigns.

Your work and your contributions will go to support causes and candidates that will fight to uphold reproductive rights, promote racial and LGBTQ equality, protect us from gun violence, bring healthcare to all and work to elect Democrats who can change the oppressive right-wing power structure in Alabama.
